Terms of Use

Effective date: October 14, 2026

These terms cover your use of gopoint.com and its free tools. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. Who we are

gopoint.com is run by GoPoint, Inc., a California corporation (“GoPoint,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at info@gopoint.com.

2. Project reviews, estimates and client work

  • Requesting a free project review creates no obligation for you or for us. We may decline any request.
  • Price ranges on the site, in the intake result and in project reviews are estimates, not quotes or offers. A price is binding only when it’s in a signed proposal or statement of work.
  • Paid work is governed by the signed agreement for that project, not by these terms. If the two conflict, the signed agreement wins.

3. YouTube benchmark and diagnostic tools

  • Our tools use YouTube API Services. By using them, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Results are based on public data and our own benchmarks. They’re informational only, may contain errors, and are not a guarantee of channel performance.
  • Only look up channels you have a legitimate reason to review. We may limit or block use to keep the tools working for everyone.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • use the site or tools for anything unlawful, or to collect data about others in violation of law;
  • scrape, overload or attempt to break into the site, its API or other users’ data, or get around rate limits;
  • submit false information, spam, or someone else’s details without permission;
  • reverse-engineer the tools, or use their output to build a competing data set.

Reading and citing our public pages, including by search engines and AI assistants, is welcome.

5. Intellectual property

The site’s content, design, code, benchmarks and tools belong to GoPoint or its licensors. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution. Client names and work samples are shown with permission and remain the property of their owners. Anything you send us through a form remains yours. You give us permission to use it to respond to you and provide the review.

6. Third-party links and services

The site links to and uses services we don’t control, such as YouTube and Google. We’re not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimers

The site, its content and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Articles and guides are general information, not professional advice for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GoPoint isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or tools. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or tools is limited to $100. These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law, and they don’t change the terms of a signed client agreement.

9. Indemnity

If you misuse the site or break these terms and a third party makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, including attorneys’ fees.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the site or tools at any time, for any lawful reason.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the site.
